Cotton jersey shorts of Navy Blue will be used as the standard PT short.  Shorts should have no distinctive markings or logos.  These are available at local Wal-Mart or Target stores for approx $5 - $10.  You can also purchase them online.

The denim uniform is the preferred fatigue uniform for Fort Miles re-enactors.  This uniform was a staple at coast artillery fortifications, and was used extensively at Fort Miles.  WWII Impressions is the only place to get them that I know of, and they look fantastic.

Standard HBT field uniforms may be used for drill weekends instead of the denim uniforms.  If you do have a denim uniform, we encourage you to wear it instead of the HBT.  The M41 pattern is now available from At The Front and is the preferred HBT pattern for use at Fort Miles.  M42 pattern HBTs may be used (for drills only) if you already have them.
