SUPPORT - SEACOAST ILLUMINATION PLAN

Tactical Organization & Assignment

Searchlights sited on the DE shore, with the exception of those assigned to AMTB batteries, are grouped under one commander with provisions for the release of any light to battalion or battery control.
Searchlights sited on the NJ shore, with the exception of one assigned to the AMTB battery, are grouped under one commander.
AMTB searchlights are assigned to respective AMTB batteries, with communications established to permit their control as seacoast searchlights if required.
All searchlights are capable of anti-aircraft use.
