Structure was added to National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
SCR-582 Radar unit was located on tower's top deck.  Radar mount footings still exist.

An SCR-582 set has been erected on top of FCT#12.  SCR-582 structure consists of an 11'-0" dia. reinforced concrete equipment room surmounted by a 6'-0" dia., 31' high steel tower upon which is erected the antenna blister.
