At its peak, Fort Miles was home to over
2200 men and women organized as units.
Each unit had a specific assignment or task,
all coming together to create a highly
efficient operational organization.
Visitors at Fort Miles would have seen a lot
of different insignias on the uniforms
there, and our re-enactors wear the same
