Personal Info
Wallen is rarely able to enjoy free time, juggling between his studies for the University of Delaware, the 261st, and the National Guard. When he does, he enjoys watching Star Trek, The X-Files, working on his car, or simply listening to music. Wallen also enjoys devoting extra time to expand his historical knowledge through documentaries, primary source documents, and books. He also collects military firearms, uniforms, and equipment from countries of all eras around the world. In the warmer months, Wallen can be found under the hood or behind the wheel of his 2011 Dodge Charger R/T. Wallen has always enjoyed music, and made some of his own in his middle school and high school years on the Trumpet and Piano. He was first introduced to music in the first grade, and it has been an integral part of his life ever since. Wallen’s music interests, much like his commander’s, lie in the 1970’s and 80’s with artists such as Tears for Fears, David Bowie, Tin Machine, Journey, and The Smiths.
